Nigerian rapper, Lawyer and actor, Falz has come out to ask the Nigerian government to free the founder of Sahara Reporter, Sowore.
In a post he shared on his social media platform, he pointed out some reasons why the the Government must free Sowore.
According to Falz, what we are facing now, is as a result of several years of neglect, which has caused the high rate of poverty, unemployment and loss of lives. He told the FG, that this is not the time to arrest anyone but to try to listen to what the masses.
He wrote;
What we are facing is a build up of the several years of neglect of the welfare of our people. Our government’s constant disregard of the loss of lives of many Nigerians. The ridiculous rate of poverty and unemployment that afflicts us. This is not a time to arrest anyone but to listen to the voices of the masses. Organizing a protest march does not in anyway amount to treason. #FreeSowore Immediately!
